Description
The project aimed to teach teenagers the art of wood carving according to the makonde tradition, initially with the collaboration with the Bela Baja Cooperative, which brought together a group of artist-sculptors from Mueda, and later with the collaboration of the local Association Janela de Esperança de Arte e Cultura, established with the contribution of Muindi and which then took charge of the management of the project.
